Outreach and Service are at the heart of Grace Church. Our members are deeply committed to our baptismal covenant where we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves and to strive for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being. As a church family, we participate in many activities throughout the year and we invite you to get involved with us!

GFCFS Food Pantry - We collect food and stock the food pantry every 4th and 5th Tuesday of each month. Contact Betsy Wright for more information at betsywright8@gmail.com.

Bright Beginnings Back Packs – Members of Grace Church support the YMCA Bright Beginnings Back Pack program each year by volunteering and donating supplies so children in Goochland can start the school year confidently.

Christmas Mother Program – Every Christmas season, Grace Episcopal sponsors a family thru the Goochland Christmas Mother program to ensure that the sponsored family experiences a meaningful Christmas.

Brown Bag Meals for Middle School Students – Grace members donate, package and deliver weekly brown bag meals for middle school students.

Rise Against Hunger – In partnership with Hebron Presbyterian Church, Grace Church participates in hosting a meal packaging event for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now).  This year, the event will occur at Grace Episcopal.  All ages are welcome to participate.

CARITAS (Congregations Around Richmond To Assure Shelter) – St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Goochland hosts Caritas for one week each year.  Caritas exists “to provide effective, permanent solutions to individuals and families dealing with the crisis of homelessness and/or addiction in the Metro Richmond area.” Grace members volunteer one night of the week to provide the food, prepare the meal and hospitality to the Caritas’ guests.

Drive Thru Coffee and Donut Ministry – ECW has launched Free Drive Thru Coffee and Donuts for the Goochland community on the third Thursday morning (6:30 – 8:30 am) of every month. We can't think of a better way to connect with our neighbors!
