This Sunday, Nov. 23 is Food Pantry Sunday. While we plan our big Thanksgiving feasts other neighbors will wonder where their next meal comes from. The GFCFS Food Pantry is in desperate need of cereal and canned beans of all kinds. Please give generously .

Grace Church is ‘adopting’ a Goochland Christmas Mother family again this year. We have been assigned Tamila (age 44) with her sons - Drake (17), Caleb (5) and Aiden (4).  All donated wrapped gifts and grocery items must be dropped off at the Parish House by Wednesday, December 10th. The Christmas Wish can be found on this website under Outreach to the left or at http://gracegoochland.thediocese.net/Outreach/Christmas-Mother-Family-List-2014/. If you have any questions, please contact Terry Ebright, our Christmas Mother Coordinator this year.

Please continue to keep Donnie & Lynn Preddy in your prayers.  Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love’s sake. Amen.

Bible Reading Class @10am on Wednesdays. Everyone is welcome!

Adult Christian Class @9:30am through Advent on Sundays

Lord! Give me courage and love to open the door and constrain You to enter, whatever the disguise You come in, even before I fully recognize my guest. Come in! Enter my small life! Lay Your sacred hands on all the common things and small interests of that life and bless and change them. Transfigure my small resources, make them sacred. And in them give me your very self.   Amen -- A Prayer by Evelyn Underhill
